The Critical Transcendence of Chinese Modernization over Western Modernization:An Analysis within the Framework of Marx and Engels' Competition Theory
摘要
Abstract
The competition theory of Marx and Engels,as a crucial component of Marxist political econo-my,acknowledges the driving role of private ownership competition in the development of human society while simultaneously revealing the inevitability that disorderly competition leads to intensified class contra-dictions.It also posits that socialist public ownership will ultimately transcend and replace this state.The competition within human society is fundamentally based on economic rivalry,gradually extending from the economic sphere into all aspects of social life,evolving from individual competition to organizational and institutional competition.Chinese-style modernization exhibits fundamental differences from Western modernization models in terms of systems,values,and practices.The birth,development,and interplay between these two paradigms reflect profound competitive logic.From the perspective of Marx and En-gels' competition theory,the Communist Party of China has consistently upheld a scientific dialectical stance during its exploration of modernization pathways.This approach involves critically absorbing ele-ments from Western modernization while constructing a people-centered model that transcends capital su-premacy;promotes win-win outcomes over self-interest;advocates for comprehensive development be-yond"one-dimensional"progress;emphasizes harmony between humanity and nature over mere"capital materialism";and favors multilateral cooperation instead of unilateral hegemony.Through these efforts,China has achieved an all-encompassing transcendence over Western modernization.关键词
