Abstract

Based on the geological environment of the first large mining height working face in Gaohe Mine,the weighting step distance of the working face was studied by means of theoretical modeling analysis,similar simulation test and field observation.The results showed that:①The first weighting step distance of 9102 working face was 32~35 m,the periodic weighting step distance was 15~23 m,the maximum periodic weighting step distance was 22.1 m,and the minimum periodic weighting step distance was 17.7 m;②the results of similar simulation experiments showed that due to the large thickness of the first mining,the height of the roof failure zone increased exponentially with the advance of the working face.The first weighting step distance of the working face was 35 m,the first periodic weighting step distance of the working face was 15 m,the second periodic weighting step distance was 20 m,and the average value of the two weighting step distance was 17.5 m;③The field measurement showed that the actual initial weighting step of No.9102 Face was 32.3 m,and the periodic weighting step was 17.7~22.1 m,which was in good agreement with the values obtained by theoretical calculation and similar simulation experiment.This study provided a basis for the support work of the working face and promoted the safe mining of coal resources with high yield and efficiency.
