Abstract
Taking the ecological water network construction in Handan as an example,this study is based on monitoring data from 13 groundwater level wells and 50 groundwater quality wells,long-term hydrological data on groundwater recharge and extraction,and meteorological data such as evaporation,temperature,and humidity.From a systemic perspective,changes in groundwater levels,recharge volumes,and water quality were compared to evaluate the restoration of the water environment and improvements in human habitats.The results show that the construction of the ecological water network reduced groundwater extraction,increased recharge,and achieved a benign cycle of groundwater extraction and replenishment.In the receiving areas,the shallow groundwater level stopped declining and began to recover.After the completion of the ecological water network,water quality improved significantly and continued to improve annually,markedly enhancing the quality of the human habitat and regional livability.关键词
