Abstract
After years of operation,the upstream slope protection of the Cetian Reservoir Dam in Datong City has suffered severe damage due to the thin thickness of the stone masonry blocks,the relatively low construction standards at the time,and the long-term effects of freezing,thawing,and wave erosion.Large areas of prefabricated concrete blocks on the dam slope have become unstable,and localized collapses have occurred in the foundation layer of the mortared stone slope protection.Based on the actual conditions of the project,multiple repair schemes were compared,and a reasonable and economical slope protection type for the upstream dam slope was determined.Practical operation of the project has proven its effectiveness,eliminating safety hazards during dam operation and ensuring the normal functioning of the reservoir.The findings provide technical support for the design of dam slope protection in similar projects in northern regions.关键词
