Abstract

The Haihe River Tide Gate,located at the estuary of the main stream of the Haihe River in the Tanggu District of Tianjin,has played a significant role in flood control and tidal defense over the years.However,after years of operation,issues such as subsidence of the gate chamber,reduced discharge capacity,and poor safety reliability have become serious problems.Therefore,to ensure the safety of Tianjin's residents,demolition and reconstruction are imperative.The traffic bridge above the Haihe River Tide Gate is an essential part of the Bohai Petroleum Road,with heavy daily traffic and no allowance for road closure during construction.Under the premise of ensuring uninterrupted traffic during construction,a practical traffic diversion plan is proposed.This plan ensures the project is completed on schedule and plays a crucial role in realizing the project's benefits.
