摘要

Abstract

Being one of the ideal propulsion system for the deep space exploration,the variable specific impulse magnetoplasma rocket engine has the technological advantages of high thrust,high specific impulse,long life which has broad application prospects.Starting with the technological advantages of the VASIMR,this paper first outlines the development process and the current state of VASIMR at abroad to show its technological roadmap and the latest process.Then,the domestic development of the thruster belonging to the type of VASIMR is introduced and the shortcomings of the research status at home and abroad are analyzed.On this basis,the key developing directions in the future are proposed.The key technologies in the development of the engine are then discussed based on the developing directions to provide certain suggestions and references for the domestic technology development of the magnetoplasma engine.
