Abstract

As Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)swarms shine in battlefields,this disruptive technology for future warfare has become a hot topic of concern for military field.Currently,effective countermeasures against UAV swarms have not yet been clearly defined,with swarm technology and counter-swarm technology in a criti-cal period of competitive development.It is imperative to actively explore technologies for countering UAV swarms.In response to this issue,starting from the current development state of typical UAV swarms,a compre-hensive and systematic summary of the development trends is provided,with a detailed analysis of the challenges in countering swarms.A preliminary framework for the countermeasure system against UAV swarms has been conceived,and a summary of the current status and constraints of swarm detection and identification technolo-gies,represented by radar detection,optoelectronic detection,radio frequency detection,and acoustic detec-tion,as well as countermeasure interception technologies,represented by destruction interception,electronic in-terference,swarm confrontation,and camouflage resistance,has been conducted from the perspective of techno-logical development.Finally,based on the current trajectory of technological development,a projection of future swarm and countermeasure technologies is offered,with the hope that the findings will serve to inspire future studies in the field of UAV swarm countermeasure technologies.
