摘要

Abstract

The Agile Condor pod program is a scalable high-performance embedded computing solution de-veloped by the US Air Force Research Laboratory based on open industry standards,aimed at meeting the opera-tional and tactical real-time processing requirements of the US Air Force's intelligence,surveillance and recon-naissance missions.The system adopts an agile pod baseline design,integrating standardized lightweight con-duction-cooled enclosures internally,supporting plug-and-play hardware and functional card interfaces.It processes sensory data from multi-functional sensors using artificial intelligence algorithms.The Agile Condor possesses multi-functional sensing capabilities and high-performance computing capabilities,adopting a design approach where the computing center is closer to the sensors.This addresses issues related to communication link data transmission bandwidth limitations and delays in processing,identifying,and filtering large amounts of sensor data.It supports future research and development in neuromorphic computing and autonomous system op-erations.The US military has integrated agile pods into multiple types of military aircraft platforms,achieving multi-mission switching capabilities on a single platform and cross-platform deployment capabilities by separately mounting new reconnaissance systems,navigation systems,and radar systems.
