Abstract

This study addresses the critical challenge of balancing electromagnetic concealment and detection effi-ciency for Airborne Warning and Control System(AWACS)in modern air combat environments.It systematically in-vestigates a cognitive frequency diverse array(FDA)-based space-time-frequency cooperative counter-passive-localiza-tion technique.By analyzing the technical bottlenecks of existing AWACS radars in complex electromagnetic environ-ments,the inherent limitations of traditional phased-array radars against passive localization systems are revealed,par-ticularly the inadequacies of distributed jammer cooperative deception and specialized waveform signal-feature reduction methods.Innovatively,a multidimensional parameter control framework for FDA is proposed,constructing a signal model encompassing spatial,temporal,and frequency domains to elucidate the generation and propagation mechanisms of passive localization errors.Compared to existing techniques,the core contributions lie in establishing an FDA space-time-frequency cooperative optimization model and developing a Bayesian filtering-based cognitive counter-passive-lo-calization algorithm.This algorithm achieves the novel paradigm of"detection-as-jamming and localization-as-decep-tion"through real-time environmental awareness and dynamic parameter adjustment,effectively countering passive lo-calization systems while maintaining stable tracking of high-speed maneuvering targets.Furthermore,the originality of the phase center perturbation model is reinforced,and a nonlinear frequency offset design overcomes the shortcomings of time-domain truncation methods.Simulation experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed method,demon-strating significant enhancement of AWACS survivability in complex electromagnetic environments.
