Research progress on molecular biomarker proteins of canine reproductive function
摘要
Abstract
Protein molecular biomarkers play a crucial role in evaluating reproductive function in male dogs,studying of which would provide insights into sperm functional status,fertilization capability,and genital tract health,and offer an objective basis for assessing canine reproductive health and supporting breeding management.However,the application of such biomarkers in canine reproductive medicine has not yet been systematically reviewed,limiting their promotion in practical breeding and clinical diagnosis.To address this gap,this review summarizes the currently identified molecular biomarker proteins applied in evaluating canine reproductive function,including A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAPs),albumin(ALBs),alkaline phosphatase(ALPL),clusterin(CLU),canine prostate-specific esterase(CPSE),and cysteine-rich secretory protein(CRISP)and their roles in indicating sperm dysfunction,abnormalities in sperm-egg interaction,and genital tract functional disorders are discussed.Additionally,potential biomarkers that are less studied and future directions for validation are highlighted.This comprehensive paper integrates the latest advances in the field of molecular biomarkers of canine reproductive functions,aiming to laying a theoretical foundation for the development of reliable reproductive function detection methods and promoting the application of these biomarkers in breeding practices,prediction of assisted reproductive outcomes,and evaluation of semen preservation efficiency.关键词
