摘要

Abstract

To analyze the mechanism by which iron oxides affect the permeability of completely weathered gran-ite soil,completely weathered granite soil from southeastern Guangxi was selected as the research object.Fer-rous sulfate solution was used as the permeation solution in indoor soil column infiltration tests to reveal the pore-blocking patterns caused by the precipitation and accumulation of iron oxides under permeation.The re-sults show that,during the infiltration process,precipitation and accumulation of iron oxides significantly reduce the permeability of completely weathered granite soil and simultaneously alter the structural characteristics of soil particles.The Bianchi model can effectively fit the permeability blockage process of completely weathered granite soil.Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)observations indicated that iron oxides mainly deposit in soil sample pores,and in some cases connect clay minerals in the soil in a bridge-like manner,forming aggregates.
