Evaluation of Carrying Capacity of Resources and Environment in Airport Economic Zone of Ezhou Huahu Airport

Abstract
The assessment of resource and environmental carrying capacity is a prerequisite for territorial spatial planning.Based on the characteristics of resources and the environment in the Ezhou Huahu Airport Aerotropolis Economic Zone,this paper selects corresponding evaluation indicators from five aspects:land resources,water resources,water environment,land environment,and eco-geological environment.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to determine the weights of each evaluation indicator,while single-factor resource and environmental carrying capacity assessments,as well as a comprehensive multi-factor overlaid assessment of resource and environmental carrying capacity,are conducted.On this basis,recommendations for functional zoning of land use are proposed.The evaluation results of this paper are as follows:the population capacity of the Ezhou Aerotropolis Economic Zone is 672,500 people,with a comprehensive carrying index of 0.14.The state of resource and environmental carrying capacity is in surplus,and the land environment needs to be paid special attention.Areas with high comprehensive resource and environmental carrying capacity are mainly located in the central part of the study area,moderate areas in the south,and low carrying capacity areas in the northwest.关键词
