The Effect of Huachansu Capsules on Adverse Reactions Induced by Nedaplatin Chemotherapy in Patients with Lung Adenocarcinoma

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of Huachansu Capsules on adverse reactions induced by nedaplatin chemotherapy in patients with lung adenocarcinoma.Methods:A total of 100 patients with lung adenocarcinoma receiving Nedaplatin chemotherapy were random-ized into the control group and the observation group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received Nedaplatin chemotherapy alone,while the observation group received Huachansu Capsules in addition to the control group's treatment.The clinical efficacy,grad-ing of adverse reactions,immune function indicators(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+),and levels of autophagy-related proteins[including micro-tubule-associated protein light chain 3(LC3),Beclin1,and p62]were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the correlation of autophagy-related protein expression levels among patients with dif-ferent therapeutic effects,as well as with different grades of adverse reactions.Results:The objective response rate in the observation group was 72.00％,significantly higher than 48.00％in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,CD8+levels decreased,while CD3+and CD4+levels increased in the two groups compared to the levels before treatment.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Compared to the control group,the observation group exhibited higher proportion of Grade 0,but lower proportions of Grade Ⅰ-Ⅳ adverse reactions,including gastrointestinal reactions,abnormal liver-kidney functions,leukope-nia,and neurotoxicity(P＜0.05).The levels of LC3 and Beclin1 were elevated,while p62 levels were reduced in both groups compared to the above levels before treatment,with statistically significant differences between groups(P＜0.05).Expression levels of autophagy-related proteins were positively correlated with clinical efficacy(P＜0.05)and negatively correlated with the severity of adverse reac-tions such as gastrointestinal reactions,abnormal liver-kidney functions,leukopenia,and neurotoxicity,etc.(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Huachansu Capsules combined with Nedaplatin chemotherapy in the treatment of lung adenocarcinoma can enhance clinical efficacy by upregulating LC3 and Beclin1 levels and downregulating p62 expression through the modulation of autophagy-related proteins.Further-more,this combination therapy can also improve immune function and relieve chemotherapy-induced adverse reactions.关键词
