Abstract
To meet the application requirements of establishing inter-satellite links within a lunar navigation system,an inter-satellite ranging system has been designed for the Tiandu Experimen-tal Satellites.The system implements inter-satellite Ka-band microwave ranging through a spread-spectrum pseudo-code ranging method based on the principle of dual one-way ranging.This approach offers advantages of simple architecture,high integration,and high measurement accuracy,making it particularly suitable for micro-satellite platforms.The hardware design and inter-satellite link configuration are introduced.Through the co-design of the two satellites and optimized antenna configuration,the system satisfies the required inter-satellite distance while re-ducing the complexity of inter-satellite beam alignment.Meanwhile,highly integrated chips are used to reduce the size and weight of the modules.The feasibility and effectiveness of the system have been verified through ground testing,demonstrating a ranging precision within 1 meter.Furthermore,an on-orbit inter-satellite ranging experiment was conducted for the first time be-tween formation-flying satellites in an elliptical lunar frozen orbit,and the results indicate that the system performance exceeds the design requirements.关键词
