Effects of robot-assisted laparoscopic ovarian endometriotic cystectomy on postoperative hormone levels and fertility

Abstract
Objective:To compare the effects of robot-assisted versus conventional laparoscopic ovarian endometriotic cyst(OEMC)resect ion on postoperative serum anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH)levels and fertility in patients.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 92 OEMC patients who were treated at our hospital from July 2020 to July 2024.They were randomly divided into the study group(n=46,undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic OEMC resection)and the control group(n=46,undergoing conventional laparoscopic O EMC resection).Differences in serum AMH,sex hormone levels,and fertility were compared between the two groups.Results:At 1 and 3 months after surgery,AMH levels in both groups decreased significantly compared to those before surgery(P<0.05),but they were higher in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).Compared to preoperative levels,both groups showed increased follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH),and decreased estradiol(E2)at 3 months after surgery(P<0.05),but the changes in FSH,LH,and E2 were less pronounced in the study group(P<0.05).At 3 months after surgery,both groups showed reduced follicle count and ovarian volume compared to that before surgery(P<0.05),but the differences between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Robot-assisted laparoscopic ovarian endometriotic cystectomy has favorable therapeutic outcomes,which can effectively promote ovarian function recovery,improve serum AMH levels,and preserve fertility.关键词
