Application of supportive psychological intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training in robot-assisted radical resection of thyroid cancer

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of supportive psychological intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training in robot-assisted radical recection of thyroid cancer.Methods:102 thyroid cancer patients who underwent robot-assisted radical recection of thyroid cancer at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from July 2020 to July 2023 were selected.They were randomly divided into the control group(n=51,receiving routine psychological intervention and training)and the study group(n=51,receiving supportive psychological intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training).Psychological resilience,negative emotions,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:After intervention,both groups showed increased CD-RISC scores,and the scores were significantly higher in the study group than those in the control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed reduced SAS and SDS scores after intervention,and the scores were significantly lower in the study group than those in the control group(P<0.05).In terms of QLQ-C30 scores,all dimensions improved in both groups with the study group showing significantly higher scores than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of supportive psychological intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training in robot-assisted radical recection of thyroid cancer can effectively enhance psychological resilience,alleviate negative emotions,and improve quality of life of patients.关键词
