Numerical simulation of magnetron microbeam plasma arc welding of ultra-thin-walled stainless steel round tube
摘要
Abstract
Ultra-thin-walled stainless steel round pipe has become an important material for high-precision welding because of its excellent characteristics such as light weight,high strength and corrosion resistance.Because of its thin wall thickness and high thermal sensitivity,the use of traditional micro-beam plasma arc welding process is prone to problems such as unstable welding performance.Therefore,using numerical simulation method to study the process of magnetic-controlled microbeam plasma arc welding of ultra-thin-walled stainless steel round tube can provide theoretical guidance for optimizing welding process and improving welding quality.In the process of micro-beam plasma arc welding of ultra-thin-walled stainless steel round tube under alternating transverse magnetic field,the heat transfer process of micro-beam plasma arc is affected by the combined action of induced magnetic field,internal electric field,flow field and external magnetic field,and the multi-physical field coupling of"electric-heat-fluid-magnetic field"is formed.A two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic model was established according to the multi-physical coupling relationship of the magnetic-controlled microbeam plasma arc discharge.The two-dimensional numerical simulation of the multi-physical field of the magnetic-controlled microbeam plasma arc discharge was carried out by using COMSOL software.The temperature field、flow field and electric field distribution of the microbeam plasma arc in the discharge range and the temperature distribution at the heating point of the ultra-thin-walled stainless steel round tube were obtained.The results show that the alternating transverse magnetic field can change the shape of the micro plasma arc and thus change the heat input on the surface of the ultra-thin wall stainless steel round tube.This effectively improves the welding forming quality.关键词
