Abstract

In order to improve the low-frequency vibration isolation performance of a vehicle seat,the bio-inspired vibration isolation theory is used to propose a nonlinear bio-inspired seat structure with inerter.The dynamics model of the bio-inspired seat is established with the Lagrange equation,and displacement transmissibility is used to analyze theoretically the vibration isolation performance and establish the vehicle-seat-human system.The vibration response of different seats under different road excitations are analyzed and compared based on the Simulink.The results show that the inerter makes the bio-inspired seat produce anti-resonance frequency and shows excellent vibration isolation performances near the frequency.The bio-inspired seat with inerter can effectively isolate low-frequency vibrations transmitted by various road surfaces,thus improving the ride comfort of a vehicle in its driving process.
