Study on Fatigue Characteristics of Flexible Lattice Structures Based on DLP Processing

Abstract
Lightweight,high-strength,and energy-absorbing lattice structures with integrated advantages have been paied significant attention for their mechanical properties.However,due to the complexity of the structures,to predict accurately their fatigue life remains challenging.Inspired by the geometric configurations of BCC and SC unit cells,an SC-BCC unit cell is designed,and expanded them periodically,and three flexible lattice structures by using DLP processing are fabricated.Fatigue property parameters were obtained by grouping method under strain level,and fatigue strength of lattice structure was predicted with numerical simulation.The reliability of the numerical simulation results was verified by constructing the S-N curves and discrete data obtained from low-cycle fatigue tests.The results showed that the S-N curves obtained from numerical simulations and experiments were highly consistent with the power-law relationship.Under the same relative density,the absolute fatigue strength largely depended on the unit cell configuration,while the difference in normalized fatigue strength was not significant.关键词
