摘要

Abstract

Due to its good nonlinear stiffness characteristics,canted coil springs are widely used as elastic elements for high-performance dynamic seal structures in aerospace.When the canted coil spring is applied to the high-temperature dynamic seal structure,there are the problems such as small compression and insufficient resilience.A novel idea of the derivative design of the canted coil spring is proposed.By changing the shape of the base surface of the canted coil spring,a canted coil spring with triangular section is designed.Taking the triangular canted coil spring as the research object,a parametric mathematical model is established,and its load-displacement curve is calculated from three aspects:theoretical calculation,finite element simulation and test,and the structural parameters of the triangular-section canted coil spring are parametrically analyzed.The influence of the various structural parameters on the stiffness of the spring is studied.It is proved that the angular coil spring with triangular section has larger compression stroke when the structural of the spring are the same.
