Exploration and Practice of Integrating Ideological and Political Education with Medical Humanities in Oral Medicine Practical Teaching

Abstract
Medical humanities education and ideological and political education occupy a pivotal position in medical education.This study aims to explore how to integrate ideo-logical and political education and medical humanities edu-cation into the clinical practice process of stomatology,in order to enhance students'professional qualities and pro-fessional abilities,and provide new ideas for the reform of stomatology practical teaching.An analysis of the current situation of practical teaching in stomatology reveals that although some achievements have been made in improving operational skills,there are significant deficiencies in medi-cal humanities education and ideological and political edu-cation,ranging from the cognitive level of supervisory teachers to the supply of teaching resources to the evalua-tion methods.To address these issues,we have started by revising the talent cultivation plan and establishing quality standards for practical teaching.We have fully leveraged the exemplary role of the teacher party branch,strength-ened the construction of the teaching team,enriched the re-sources of the ideological and political case library,and lev-eraged the characteristics and advantages of stomatology.We have broadened the educational pathways through sce-nario simulation,seminar-based teaching,and diverse so-cial practice activities,and adopted various evaluation methods such as process assessment,teacher evaluation,and patient evaluation to compare the educational effects.The results indicate that this integrated model can stimulate students'learning initiative,enhance doctor-patient com-munication skills and job competency,and achieve coordi-nated development of professional education and ideologi-cal and political education.关键词
