摘要

Abstract

The Camellia oleifera shell was extracted using an acid hydrolysis method.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)was used to analyze the components of the extract.In vitro,antimicrobial assays were conducted to determine the antibacterial activity of the C.oleifera shell extract against five prevalent pathogenic aquatic bacteria.Additionally,aquaculture experiments were performed to evaluate the effects of the extract on the growth,antioxidant capacity,and immune function of juvenile largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides).The results revealed that the extract contained esters(15.42%),furans(61.75%),phenols(8.43%),and ketones(3.90%).The extract demonstrated significant antibacterial activity against Vibrio harveyi,Pseudomonas plecoglossicida,Edwardsiella tarda,Aeromonas hydrophila,and V.alginolyticus,exhibiting extreme high sensitivity.After 56 days of feeding experiment,the addition of 0.1%extract in the diet(A1 diet)promoted the growth(weight gain rate reached 441.19%±9.49%)and feed utilization(feed conversion ratio was 1.00±0.01)of juvenile largemouth bass,and enhanced the capacity of antioxidant and immune in juvenile largemouth bass.Specifically,it is manifested as an increase in the activity of serum total superoxide dismutase and the level of total antioxidant capacity,along with an increase in the activity of alkaline phosphatase and the content of immunoglobulin M,and a decrease in malondialdehyde content.
