High-Performance Computing of Rockbursts and Implementation Plan of Digital Twin Prediction
摘要
Abstract
In 1987,Professor Zhang Meng-tao proposed the well-known theory of rockburst instability.Then,the programming finite element codes were used to study phenomena related to rockbursts.After nearly 40 years of hard work,numerical simulation of rockbursts has transitioned from traditional computing to high-performance computing.We briefly review theories of rockburst instabilities proposed from the perspective of rock structure stability by our team.We also introduce the recent work,i.e.,the high-performance computing of the relationship between the critical stress of the circular roadway surrounding rock and the burst energy index,and analyze the feasibility of the implementation plans of the digital twin prediction for rockbursts,which is a promising and valuable technology for the future applications.StrataKing,i.e.,the GPU parallel computing system of strata movement developed independently over more than 10 years possesses high efficiency,high precision,and large-scale computing capability,and can be helpful for the digital twin prediction for roadway rockbursts.Compared with the parallel computing by use of StrataKing with using data driven by digital image correlation measurements,the parallel computing by use of StrataKing with data driven through displacement meter measurements is the most convenient strategy for the digital twin prediction for instability of the rock specimen.The successful digital twin prediction for instability of the rock specimen can lay a solid technical foundation for the digital twin prediction for roadway rockbursts.The ideal strategy for the digital twin prediction for roadway rockbursts is the parallel computing by use of StrataKing with data driven through displacement and microseismic measurements.In this process,the displacements of the roadway surface will be introduced into StrataKing as a boundary condition,while the microseismic distribution will be introduced into StrataKing as the fracturing position.Thus,the parallel computing by use of StrataKing can proceed without requiring real-time in put.Thus,the critical stress can be obtained so that occurrence time,positions of main fractures,and magnitude of roadway rockbursts can be scientifically predicted.关键词
