Simple Monte Carlo Simulation and Experimental Measurement of 241 Am Energy Spectrum
摘要
Abstract
Americium-241(241 Am)is a commonly used artificial radioactive isotope.To enable rapid estimation of the response of the 241Am radioactive source in a sodium iodide(NaI)detector and its gamma-ray spectrum distribution,this paper proposes a simple Monte Carlo(MC)-based approximate simulation method.The gamma-ray spectrum obtained using this method is in good agreement with experimental data and significantly reduces computational complexity compared to traditional Monte Carlo simulations.Results show that this method will demonstrate broad application potential in the fields of rapid efficiency evaluation and fast gamma-ray spectrum estimation.关键词
