Study on the Green Conservation of Chinese Medicinal Material Angelica Sinensis by Ultrasound-Chitosan Combination

摘要

Abstract

Objective:To analyze and determine the optimal ratio of ultrasound-chitosan(US-CTS)for the combined preservation of Angelica sinensis by regularly observing the appearance and properties of the medicinal materials and detecting the main pharmacopoeia indicators at different time periods.Methods:The ordinary water-washed Angelica sinensis(Control group-ordinary water,CG-OW)and the ultrasound-washed Angelica sinensis(Control group-ultrasound,CG-US)were set as the control groups.The Angelica sinensis that had been washed by ultrasound was placed in the preservation solution containing a certain amount of chitosan(CTS)for ultrasound preservation until it was completely dry.The preservation effect was comprehensively evaluated through visual inspection and detection of various pharmacopoeia indicators and their changes.Results:After 18 months,there was no mold in the control group Ⅰ(CG-OW),only extremely slight insect damage was observed;at the end of 21 months slight insect damage was found in the control group Ⅱ(CG-US).In the experimental groups the Angelica sinensis preserved with US-CTS-0.10%and US-CTS-0.15%showed suspected insect damage and faint mold at 27 months and 30 months,respectively;at the end of 36 months,the Angelica sinensis preserved with US-CTS-0.20%showed slight insect damage and faint mold;the Angelica sinensis preserved with US-CTS-0.25%to 0.50%remained intact in appearance without insect damage,mold,or color change within 36 months.The main pharmacopoeia indicators of the control groups and each experimental group at each time period met the requirements.Conclusion:The optimal preservation condition of Angelica sinensis by ultrasound-chitosan(US-CTS)combined preservation is US-CTS-0.25%,and the safe storage period of the preserved Angelica sinensis is up to 36 months.This preservation method has the advantages of simplicity,environmental friendliness,high efficiency and economy.
