Abstract

Taking DN 800 mm directly buried hot water pipeline as an example,the vertical stability of the pipeline in the casing was determined,the hazards of pipe instability in the casing were analyzed,and the so-lution suggestions were proposed.Simply complying with the judgment criteria specified in Technical Speci-fication for Directly Buried Hot-water Heating Pipeline in City(CJJ/T 81-2013)does not guarantee the vertical stability of the pipeline when the casing remains un-filled with soil.The premise for using CJJ/T 81-2013 to determine whether the pipeline in the casing meets the vertical stability requirements is that the casing is filled with sand.If the casing cannot be filled with sand,measures such as reducing pipeline axial force,minimizing the unsupported length within the casing,or installing internal supports should be implemented to prevent instability.
