User experience with deep learning-based chatbots among patients with colorectal cancer and stakeholders:a qualitative study
摘要
Abstract
Objective To understand user experience with deep learning-based chatbots among patients with colorectal cancer and stakeholders,and to provide reference for standardizing clinical application of chatbots.Methods Guided by phenomenological re-search methods,purposive sampling was used to select 9 medical staff,12 patients,and 8 caregivers from the gastroenterology depart-ment of a tertiary grade-A hospital in Wuhan for semi-structured interviews.The Colaizzi 7-step analysis was employed to analyze the data.Results User experience of colorectal cancer patients and stakeholders with deep learning-based chatbots can be summarized into four themes:differentiated usage intention,diversified usage experience,diversified usage scenarios,and concentrated usage diffi-culties.Conclusion User experience with chatbots among colorectal cancer patients and stakeholders is complex.It is essential to ac-tively conduct digital training specifically for patients with colorectal cancer to enhance their willingness to use.Chatbots need to be continuously optimized to improve user experience.Furthermore,it is imperative to further improve the development of laws and regula-tions to strengthen the supervision and administration of the clinical application of chatbots,thereby promoting the sustainable develop-ment of chatbots in clinical settings.关键词
