Abstract
Objective To conduct a scoping review of the application of exercise intervention in managing cancer-related fatigue in children with acute leukemia,with the aim of providing reference for clinical practice.Methods Following the methodology of scop-ing review,a systematic search was conducted across the following databases:PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,CI-NAHL,JBI,CNKI,Wanfang,China Medical Journal Full-text Database,VIP,and China Biomedical Database for studies on the appli-cation of exercise intervention for managing cancer-related fatigue in children with acute leukemia,with a search timeframe from data-base inception to December 10,2024.The included literature was screened,summarized,and analyzed systematically.Results Twenty pieces of literature were collected,including 8 randomized controlled trials,7 quasi-experimental studies,and 5 pre-post controlled tri-als.The types of exercise interventions were categorized as follows:aerobic exercise in seven studies,yoga training in one study,com-bined aerobic,resistance,and flexibility training in four studies,exercise games in three studies,and exercise combined with other in-terventions in five studies.Most interventions were of low to moderate intensity,with a frequency of 3 to 5 sessions per week and a dura-tion of 30 to 60 minutes per session.The outcome measures evaluated in the studies included fatigue level,physical activity,endur-ance,exercise compliance,sleep quality,psychosocial functioning,quality of life,etc.Conclusion Exercise intervention has a posi-tive effect on improving the fatigue and physical function in children with acute leukemia.It is suggested that medical staff should de-velop scientific,targeted and standardized exercise intervention programs for children with acute leukemia tailored to their individual characteristics and treatment stages.关键词
