X-band fully isolated power combiner network based on hybrid transmission lines

Abstract
A four-channel fully isolated X-band power combiner network based on a hybrid architecture of microstrip line(MSL)and air-filled substrate integrated waveguide(AFSIW)is proposed.This power combiner network achieves high power capacity while maintaining a low-profile structure and compact layout.The input network employs three cascaded microstrip(MS)3-dB directional couplers to form four power dividers,achieving broadband impedance matching through asymmetric transmission line optimization.The output network is constructed based on SIW 3-dB directional couplers,utilizing the field constraint characteristics of the TE10 mode to achieve four-port full isolation.To further enhance performance,this study adopts an X-band four-channel fully isolated power combiner network.This power combiner network uses AFSIW structure directional couplers instead of SIW directional couplers and uses metal structural components to shield the air cavity,achieving lower losses and better heat dissipation performance than the MS-SIW architecture power combination network.The measured results show that the bandwidth range of the proposed power synthesizer is 8.8 to 11.3 GHz,and the isolation among its four-channels is better than 15 dB in the working band.The overall return loss is better than 15 dB in the range of 9.2 to 10.4 GHz,and better than 10 dB in the range of 8.6 to 11.3 GHz.The minimum insertion loss is 1.9 dB,and the power capacity is 23.303 kW.关键词
