Abstract
This study evaluated the acute toxicity of 20%Pyriclobenzuron SC to Neocaridina denticulata.The nominal concentrations of test item were set as 20,40,80,160,320 mg/L(equivalent to 4,8,16,32,64 mg a.i./L),with a blank control included in parallel.Three replicates were set in each group with ten Neocaridina denticulata per each replicate.The test shrimps were observed at 6,24,48,72 and 96 hours of exposure,and mortality as well as abnormal behaviors were recorded.Based on mortality data,the LC50 was calculated.The results show that at the end of exposure,the mortality rate at the nominal concentration of 20,40,80,160,320 mg/L was 7%,20%,53%,77%,97%,respectively.No mortality occurred in the control group.Analysis based on measured concentration yields the arithmetic mean of 4.0,8.2,17,32,65 mg/L,corresponding to the nominal concentrations.The-LC50 of test item to test shrimp was determined as 24 h,34 mg/L(95%confidence limit:27~44 mg/L);48 h,25 mg/L(95%confidence limit:20~32 mg/L;72 h,21 mg/L(95%confidence limit:17~26 mg/L);and 96 h,18 mg/L(95%confidence limit:15~21 mg/L).关键词
