摘要

Abstract

As a typical animal of Acoela,Heterochaerus australis possesses remarkable regenerative a-bilities.Thus,the research of the regeneration process is helpful to enrich the understanding of the mo-lecular mechanism of the regeneration process of primitive bilateria.In this research,we used weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)on transcriptomic data from regeneration process of head and tail tissue in H.australis to analyze the key gene regulatory networks during head and tail tissue regeneration.Through differential gene expression analysis and similarity analysis of WGCNA modules,we identified similar WGCNA modules between head and tail tissues regeneration.KEGG enrichment a-nalysis revealed that the function of genes in these key modules are associated with cell cycle,DNA rep-lication,the signaling pathways related to the maintenance of cell energy balance and the inhibition of abnormal cell proliferation,indicating these modules are involved in maintaining the correct regeneration of head and tail tissues of H.australis.Based on the gene annotation and expression patterns of picked hub genes in these key modules,this research further analyzed the cascading expression patterns of the key gene regulatory networks during head and tail tissue regeneration in H.australis.
