强宿根高抗黑穗病甘蔗新品种桂糖69号的选育及栽培技术
Breeding of A New Sugarcane Variety GT 69 with High Ratoon Ability and Smut‒Resistance and its Cultivation Techniques

Abstract
To provide excellent new sugarcane varieties for the sugarcane area,the parent combination of GT 02123×YZ 89159 was used for hybridization.The evaluation of ratoon ability and the selection of machine harvest tolerance indices were carried out in the seedling planting and seed selection nursery,respectively.After"five nursery"breeding,regional trial,7-year ratoon sugarcane test,and machine harvest tolerance test,a new sugarcane variety GT 69 was developed.In its first year,the ratoon index reached 1.05,0.20 higher than the control;The ratoon cane yield from the first to the seventh year was 101.32～75.71 t·hm‒2,33.42%～50.7%higher than the control;The average sugar content throughout the period was 15.16%,0.37 percentage points higher than the control;The incidence rate of smut by artificial inoculation was 0;The ratoon cane yield in the first to third year after mechanical harvesting was 96.39～91.70 t·hm‒2,which was equivalent to that in the artificially harvested area,and the machine harvest tolerance index was 1.00～1.03.The results of multi-year trials showed that GT 69 is a variety with strong ratoon ability,a ratooning period of more than 5-6 years,many millable stalks,early maturity,high sugar content,and high yield.It has high resistance to smut and strong mechanical harvesting ability for full mechanization produc-tion,and can be planted in Guangxi sugarcane areas.关键词
