翅茎西番莲果实的发育特征及多样性研究
The Development Characteristics and Diversity of Passiflora alata Curtis Fruits

Abstract
Rich in tropical fruit resources,Hainan has always been regarded as a featured and efficient agricultural industry,which plays a positive role in promoting regional economic development and increasing farmers'income.Passionfruit,also known as passion fruit,is rich in vitamin C.Passionfruit is a tropical fruit that has gained popularity in recent years.However,because of the narrow genetic background of its cultivars,it is difficult to cultivate breakthrough new varieties,resulting in a long cycle of variety renewal and iteration,which does not meet the diverse needs of modern consumer markets for passion fruit products.P.alata Curtis is an edible species of Passiflora.It has the characteristics of strong resistance,high yield,and unique flavor.Research on this resource can provide a reference for the breeding of new varieties of Passiflora.In this study,eighty-one hybrid populations of P.alata Curtis were studied for real-time monitoring of fruit growth and development pro-cesses,investigations of fruit botanical traits and agronomic traits.The results showed that the whole growth period of the fruit was about eight weeks,and the vertical and horizontal diameters,circumferential diameter,and single-fruit weight of the fruit first rapidly increased but then slowly increased.The growth curves of both the fresh weight and hardness of the fruit peel first increased but then decreased.In the 5th week,juice appeared in the fruit grains,soluble solids showed an upward curve,and fruit acidity showed a downward curve,indicating that with increasing fruit growth,the sweetness of the fruit increased,and the acidity decreased.The fruit solid acid ratio increased faster from week 7 to week 8.The coefficients of variation for fruit stalk length,acid content,the solid-acid ratio,and fruit hardness were all greater than 20.00%.The coefficients of variation of the seed length‒width ratio,area,and thousand-grain mass were all greater than 12%.The results of the fruit show that there is a certain diversity of P.alata Curtis.This study can provide a theoretical basis for the timely harvesting of Passiflora in the future and provide material for excellent germplasm screening.关键词
