Multi-objective Adaptive Regulation of Water Resources in Northern Jiangsu Region Based on Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm

Abstract
To enhance the adaptability and resilience of regional water resources and support sustainable socio-economic development,this study proposes a multi-objective adaptive regulation model for water resource allocation in Northern Jiangsu,integrating water supply,ecological conservation,and economic considerations.Using hydrological data from 1980 to 2023,three typical years(extremely dry,dry,and normal years)were selected to analyze water demand and shortage rates under different scenarios.The results show that water supply reliability in Northern Jiangsu exceeds 90%under all demand scenarios,indicating a dynamic equilibrium.A comparative analysis between 2022 and 2035 reveals that in extremely dry years,the regional water shortage rate decreased from 9.4%to 5.0%;in dry years,the shortage rate slightly decreased from 4.3%to 4.0%;in normal years,it declined marginally from 1.6%to 1.4%.Notably,terminal cities in the water network(e.g.,Lianyungang,Yancheng)experienced higher shortage rates(6%~7%),indicating ongoing water security risks during extreme droughts,despite the overall adequacy of water supply.These findings provide valuable insights for the scientific planning and efficient utilization of water resources in Northern Jiangsu.关键词
