摘要

Abstract

To screen new pepper varieties suitable for greenhouse cultivation in the Turpan region of Xinjiang that are high-quality,high-yielding and multi-resistant,thereby addressing issues such as the singularity of local main varieties,prominent continuous cropping obstacles and poor adaptability of introduced varieties,13 new pepper varieties were introduced and systematically compared with the local main varieties' Jinding 16'(CK)for their phenological periods,fruit traits,quality,yield and disease resistance.A comprehensive evaluation was conducted using the grey correlation degree method.The results indicated that the tested varieties exhibited rich diversity in fruit traits(coefficient of variation 10%-25%).Among them,'Zhongjiao 409'performed best in comprehensive quality(soluble solids content 5.50 mg/g,protein content 61.32 mg/g),yield per 667 m2(3 878.8 kg)and disease resistance(highly resistant to both virus disease and blight),ranking first with a weighted grey correlation degree score(0.688).'Luoshen'and'18-8'also showed excellent performance in early maturity,quality,yield and disease resistance,ranking second and third,respectively,in the comprehensive evaluation.In conclusion,'Zhongjiao 409''Luoshen'and'18-8'possess outstanding comprehensive traits and strong adaptability,and are recommended as primary new pepper varieties for demonstration and promotion in greenhouses in Turpan.
