Effects of Nitrogen Application Rate and Nitrogen Application Mode on Yield,Photosynthesis and Quality of Yixiangyou 2115

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to clarify the effects of nitrogen application rate and nitrogen management mode on the yield,photosynthetic characteristics,and grain quality of the three-line hybrid rice variety Yixiangyou 2115,so as to provide a theoretical and practical basis for its high-yield and high-quality cultivation.[Method]A two-year plot experiment was conducted in 2022 and 2023 using a split-plot design with two factors.Three nitrogen application rates were set:N0(0 kg/hm2),N1(90.0 kg/hm2),and N2(180.0 kg/hm2),along with two nitrogen application modes:T1(basal fertilizer:tillering fertilizer∶panicle-promoting fertilizer∶panicle-preserving fertilizer=7∶3∶0∶0)and T2(3.5∶1.5∶2.5∶2.5).The effects of nitrogen rate and application mode on yield formation,photosynthetic traits,and grain quality of Yixiangyou 2115 were systematically analyzed.[Result]The yield of Yixiangyou 2115 was mainly determined by the number of secondary branches per panicle and the number of effective panicles.The highest yield was achieved under the T2-N2 treatment,which increased by 16.67%-19.45%compared to the T2-N0 treatment.The interaction between nitrogen rate and application mode significantly enhanced the net photosynthetic rate.Under the same nitrogen mode,the net photosynthetic rate followed N2>N1>N0,and under the same nitrogen rate,T2 outperformed T1.With increasing nitrogen application,the brown rice rate and milled rice rate showed no significant changes,while the head rice rate,chalkiness degree,and chalky grain rate increased significantly,in the order of N2>N1>N0.Under the same nitrogen rate,the chalky grain rate was higher in T1 than in T2.Nitrogen rate significantly influ-enced the comprehensive score,appearance,taste,and hardness of cooking and eating quality,while ni-trogen mode mainly affected the appearance,with no significant impact on other indicators.The interac-tion effect was significant only for appearance and hardness.The comprehensive score under T1 showed an initial increase followed by a decrease,whereas under T2 it exhibited a continuous upward trend.The T2-N2 treatment achieved the highest comprehensive scores of 86.67 and 85.83 in the two years,respec-tively.Correlation analysis revealed that yield and its components were significantly positively correlated with net photosynthetic rate,and the comprehensive score,appearance,and taste of cooking and eating quality were significantly positively correlated with milled rice rate.[Conclusion]T2-N2 treatment is the best fertilization mode for Yixiangyou 2115,which can obtain high yield while ensuring the processing quality and cooking and eating quality of rice.关键词
