摘要
Abstract
With socioeconomic development and continuous improvement in living standards,the issue of overweight and obesity has become increasingly prominent,attracting widespread attention.In weight management,alongside lifestyle interventions,the application of acupoint catgut embedding—a distinctive traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)therapy—has gained significant prevalence and demonstrated notable advantages in clinical practice.To standardize the clinical management of overweight populations and provide personalized diagnostic and therapeutic approaches,this Clinical practice expert consensus on a comprehensive protocol of acupoint catgut embedding for overweight populations in Sichuan guided by TCM preventive treatment theory was developed,integrating prior clinical applications and research advances in TCM-based catgut embedding for weight reduction with clinical experience from the Sichuan.The consensus aims to enhance the efficacy of weight management in Sichuan.关键词
