Abstract
Zhang Xichun was highly proficient in understanding medicinal properties,adept in flexible herb combinations,dosage adjustments based on clinical presentations,and exemplified an innovative spirit while adhering to classical principles.He had extensive experience in the clinical application of Talcum,regarding it as cool,moistening,slippery,and effective in unblocking the orifices and channels.He employed it to treat conditions such as febrile sensations,urinary obstruction,dysentery,breast distention in women,and gastric accumulations.In clinical practice,Zhang emphasized tailoring herb combinations and dosages according to individual constitution and disease patterns,reflecting his strong awareness of safe medication practices.His insights have offered valuable clinical experience and therapeutic strategies for future generations.This review explores Talcum from the aspects of its medicinal properties and efficacy,combination strategies,novel formula creation,and clinical applications,in the hope of providing reference for fellow practitioners.关键词
