Analysis of disease spectrum characteristics and geographical influencing factors in China-Cambodia traditional chinese medicine centers based on data mining

Abstract
Objective This study aims to examine the distribution of diseases,gender differences,and age characteristics of patients treated at the China-Cambodia Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Center in 2024 through data mining.It also seeks to identify the factors influencing these diseases and their relationships with local climate and dietary practices in Cambodia.Methods This retrospective analysis reviewed all cases treated at the Kantha Bopha China-Cambodia Friendship TCM Clinic(China-Cambodia TCM Center)from January to December 2024.Data regarding gender,age,primary complaints,diagnoses,and disease categories were collected and analyzed statistically using Excel.Results A total of 4306 cases were included(2201 males,51.10%;2105 females,48.90%),with the highest proportion in the young and middle-aged group(15～44 years,51.63%).The three most common diseases were spleen and stomach disorders(19.65%),cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases(17.32%),and lung diseases(14.25%).Further examination of these top three diseases indicated significant in their prevalence based on age and gender,with some showing a strong correlation to the local environment and dietary habits.Conclusion The disease spectrum at the China-Cambodia TCM Center was primarily marked by spleen-stomach disorders,followed by cardiovascular/cerebrovascular diseases and lung issues.Extreme heat and sudden rainfall are the reasons for the high incidence of diseases.关键词
