Abstract
To enhance the comfort,safety,and convenience of daily chair use for self-reliant elderly individuals,this study focuses on the design optimization of age-friendly chairs,exploring their core needs and design directions.Based on the physiological,psychological,and behavioral characteristics of self-reliant elderly individuals,semi-structured interviews were conducted to identify key pain points in static,dynamic,emotional,and functional experience requirements.A seating comfort index system was constructed,and the G1 method was employed to rank design elements by importance and priority.A systematic design strategy was proposed for self-reliant elderly individuals,encompassing four dimensions:human-machine optimization,emotional design,functional experience optimization,and safety optimization.The proposed design strategy significantly improves the user experience of age-friendly chairs in both static and dynamic scenarios,providing a scientific basis and practical reference for the design and development of age-friendly chairs.关键词
