摘要
Abstract
This study examines the Steam Punk art style through the lens of the*BioShock* series, analyzing its manifestation in environmental design, character systems, and prop design, while exploring the narrative depth and game design strategies within the franchise.Utilizing visual content analysis,cross-work comparisons, and qualitative interviews, this research deciphers visual symbols'metaphorical roles in storytelling, spatial organization, and emotional modulation through frame-by-frame analysis of key scenes, incorporating semiotics and color psychology.Through the method of"technological archaeology",the game reconstructs the aesthetic system of steampunk, successfully realizes the creative transformation of this style in the contemporary context, and constructs an intertextual system which is highly unified at the level of symbol, experience and criticism.BioShock has not only expanded the expressive pathways of steampunk within design practice, but has also provided game design with an integrated paradigm of"narrative-mechanics-aesthetics"trinity.In the future, design research should further explore the application of new technologies such as parametric design and generative AI in style innovation, deepen the discussion on design ethics and cultural criticism, and promote the theoretical construction and practical innovation of design in the digital era.关键词
