SERVICE DESIGN FOR BREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT TARGETING MIDDLE-AGED AND ELDERLY WOMEN IN RURAL AREAS

Abstract
This study addresses the practical challenges faced by middle-aged and elderly women in rural areas during breast cancer diagnosis and treatment,and proposes a systematic improvement scheme from the perspective of service design.Literature review and demand research were conducted to analyze service design theory and the characteristics of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment services.Based on this,a service design framework was constructed and integrated with the Double Diamond model to form a systematic process.Taking patient experience as the starting point,the study investigated the pain points of stakeholders in the diagnostic and treatment process,addressing issues such as low digitalization in county hospitals,poor information interoperability,complex health data monitoring,and lack of psychological support.These findings were translated into actionable touchpoint designs.Finally,the proposed"Breast Care+"system was tested and iterated through user perception evaluation and usability validation.The study not only provides a feasible service design solution for rural middle-aged and elderly breast cancer patients but also contributes to the refinement of service design theory and the standardization of process frameworks.关键词
