Abstract
To standardize the technical operation of ultrasonic monitoring of gastric residual volume in adults by healthcare providers in diverse medical institutions at all levels,improve the accuracy and safety of monitoring,and provide scientific guidance for the implementation of enteral nutrition and complication prevention,the Shanghai Nursing Association issued the association standard Technical Specifications for Ultrasonic Monitoring of Gastric Residual Volume in Adults in May 2025.The article provides a detailed interpretation of the association standard,covering its development background,main contents(personnel and equipment requirements,operating procedures,strategies for special populations,etc.)and clinical promotion suggestions.It aims to help healthcare providers in diverse medical institutions at all levels better understand and apply the standard,promote the standardization of ultrasonic monitoring of gastric residual volume,and also provide a reference for ensuring the safety and efficacy of clinical enteral nutrition support.关键词
