Typical Models of Living Heritage Protection in British Railway Heritage Spaces

Abstract
As a dynamic and people-centred conservation strategy,the"living heritage approach"unlocks the potential of railway heritage spaces in this era.Through practical case studies,this paper examines four distinctive living heritage protection models applied to railway heritage spaces in the UK.This paper identifies nine key living heritage methods for railway heritage conservation in the UK,oriented towards three-dimensional living objectives,which are historical function,community connection and future adaptability.Reflecting on the current challenges and requirements of railway heritage conservation in China,this paper explores the applicability experience of the UK's living heritage approach,offering insights for strategies in the Chinese context.关键词
