摘要
Abstract
Amid the ongoing evolution of global urban heritage conservation practices, colonial railway heritage has attracted growing scholarly attention due to its complex historical context and multifaceted value. This study adopts the theoretical framework of resilience to examine the Singapore Rail Corridor as a representative case, exploring how colonial railway heritage can be sustainably preserved within high-density urban environments through ecological restoration, community participation, and institutional adaptability.By integrating literature analysis, policy review, and in-depth interviews, the research systematically analyses the planning strategies and governance mechanisms employed in the Rail Corridor project. It further investigates Singapore's approach to innovating protection paths for colonial railway heritage across three dimensions--functionality,governance,and identity--and evaluates the relevance and applicability of this experience to Chinese cities facing similar heritage challenges. The study argues that China should explore a"contextually embedded"model of resilient heritage preservation, tailored to local conditions,to facilitate a shift from static protection toward an integrated socio-ecological-institutional reconstruction of railway heritage.关键词
