摘要

Abstract

To expand the application of bamboo oriented strand board(BOSB),this study evaluates its density,internal bond strength,and bending properties.Furthermore,the nondestructive testing is employed to measure the dynamic bending modulus of elasticity(MOE),and the correlation between dynamic MOE and static bending performance is analyzed.The results indicate that the vertical density profile(VDP)of BOSB is relatively uniform,while the deviation of density within the board is relatively large.In terms of internal bond strength,BOSB exhibits an average value 1.69 times higher than what is required in current standards.Its static bending strength and MOE also generally meet the standard requirements.A clear linear correlation is established between the dynamic bending MOE,the static MOE and static bending strength.The findings provide data support and performance evaluation for the application of BOSB.
