HUANG Yaozhou's Experiences in Treating Vitiligo
摘要
Abstract
Vitiligo is a common refractory skin disease with pigmentary loss,in local or widespread manifestation.It directly affects patients' appearance and brings negative impacts on their life,work,and communication.Vitiligo falls in the categories of"baibofeng","banbo",and"baiban"in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Prof.HUANG Yaozhou considers that vitiligo is caused by liver and kidney deficiency,restlessness,and external wind evils.The disease location is in heart,liver,and kidney.Based on its characteristics,a self-prescribed TCM decoction was administered,mostly follow-ing the general principles of tonifying the liver and kidney,setting heart and calming mind,as well as dispersing the exterior pathogen to address both the symptoms and root causes.Prof.HUANG Yaozhou's academic thoughts and clinical experi-ences were introduced,and two case reports were attached.关键词
