Abstract
In the early stage of the sixth Red Army Corps'Western Expedition,boththe sixth Red Ar-my Corps and Kuoming tang army were unaware of the purpose of the Western Expedition.A warlord in Hunan,He Jian,used bunker tactics in an attempt to deplete the vital forces of the sixth Red Ar-my Corps.However,the sixth Red Army Corps adopted a flexible strategy and tactics,avoiding the strong and attack the weak,and successfully got rid of the pursuit of the Hunan army.After entering Guangxi,the public opinion in the KMT-ruled area showed a tension of"confidence"and"ner-vousness".However,the sixth Red Army Corps broke through the encirclement of Hunan and Guangxi armies step by step,which completely shattered the public's"confidence"in the KMT-ruled area,and aggravated the"nervousness"among the warlords.Although the Kuomintang war-lords fought internally on the issue of"encirclement and suppression",they always cooperated more than disagreed.Subjectively,they did not mean to"see off"and instead continued to"pursue"the sixth Red Army Corps across the border.The sixth Red Army Corps responded flexibly in crisis and formed a two-way mutual benefit with the Central Red Army in the Long March.关键词
