杭州西湖鱼类群落结构特征分析
Fish community structure in Hangzhou West Lake

Abstract
Fish play an important role in structuring aquatic ecosystems.In this study,we studied the fish community structure in Hangzhou West Lake based on data collected at 8 sampling sites in four seasons during 2021-2022.We found that 36 fish species were recorded,with 28 belonging to the Cyprinidae family.Catch per unit effort(CPUE)of fish showed temporal and spatial variations,with the highest CPUE in spring and the lowest in winter,and more fish were caught at the pelagic site in the main lake area in each sampling event.The fish community structure was dominated by small zooplanktivorous fish in terms of numbers(57%)and by omni-benthivorous fish in terms of weight(49%);however,the percentage of both piscivores and herbivores was lower than 10%.The dominant fish species in Hangzhou West Lake were Toxabramis swinhonis,Carassius carassius,Hemicculter leuciclus,Xenocypris davidi and Aristichthys nobilis based on values of the index of relative importance(IRI).Our results indicate that the fish community structure in Hangzhou West Lake is dominated by zooplanktivores and omni-benthivores,which may exert high predation pressure on zooplankton and induce strong disturbance on sediments,resulting in high nutrient concentrations and phytoplankton biomass in the water.Therefore,fish community should be monitored and manipulated when zooplanktivores and omnivores are abundant in the management of water quality in Hangzhou West Lake.关键词
