Research progress on ecological effects of onshore wind power

摘要

Abstract

Wind power is one of the main sources of energy to build a new energy system under carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets,and scientific understanding of the ecological effects of wind power can provide scientific and technological support to achieve green and high-quality development of wind power.This paper dissects the current status of research on the effects of onshore wind power on local microclimate factors such as wind speed,air temperature,surface temperature,humidity,precipitation,soil physicochemical properties,organic carbon storage,vegetation cover,diversity,and productivity,as well as bird collision and bird habitat.The level,scope,patterns,and trends of ecological impacts of onshore wind power in existing studies vary depending on various factors such as local microclimate,topographic conditions,and native vegetation types.The coupled effects of turbulence changes of wind turbines on soil-microorganisms,plant populations-communities,soil-plant interfaces,microhabitats-ecosystems,and bird flight trajectories-migration routes in engineered trails within the site area are future research directions for the ecological effects of wind power and its adaptation and regulation with microhabitats.
